오행으로 상징되는 ‘화(火) · 수(水)· 금(金) · 목(木) · 토(土)’ 에너지의 복잡한 상호작용을 통해 ‘삶의 과정은 다를 수 있지만 서로에게 영향을 주며 또 다른 생명으로 연결되고 반복된다’ 는 삶의 원리를 이야기한다. 모든 것이 돌고 도는 원(○)과 물이 굽이쳐 흐르는 천(川)으로 이루어진 작품의 제목은 모든 에너지는 서로 흐르고 교환하며 결국 만나 삶을 이룬다는 의미를 직관적으로 표현함과 동시에 춤의 스타일과 무용수들의 움직임을 표현하며 관객들에게 춤을 통한 새로운 영감을 전달하고자 한다. 


프로젝션맵핑으로 무한히 확장되는 무대와 새롭게 펼쳐지는 공감각 



프로젝션 맵핑 기법으로 펼쳐낸 새로운 시공간에서 오행의 요소가 주는 이미지를 가시적으로 제시하며 관객의 몰입도를 증폭한다. 프로젝션 맵핑은 2D인 영상을 투사하여 3차원의 가상공간을 창조해내는 기법으로 무대가 가진 한계를 뛰어넘어 관객의 몰입도를 증폭시키는 새로운 경험을 제공한다. 다양한 투사면을 활용하여 펼쳐진 새로운 시공간에서 오행의 요소가 주는 이미지를 더욱 명료하게 전달하고, 변화하는 에너지를 따라 춤 자체가 가지는 힘과 추상적 감정의 본질을 가시적으로 제시한다.

국립부산국악원 무용단의 정기공연 〈학(鶴)〉은 ‘전통춤 속에서 선조들이 담고 싶었던 학의 모습은 어떤 모습일까?’ 라는 물음에 대한 해답을 찾기 위한 과정으로, 학이 지닌 상징성과 그 정신세계를 현대적 미감으로 풀어낸 창작 작품이다. 궁중과 민속의 학춤 뿐 아니라 학의 이미지가 담긴 전통문양까지 학과 관련된 문화적 콘텐츠를 활용하여 인간과 자연이 하나의 생명 공동체라는 근본적 각성을 통해 훼손된 자연을 정화하고 인간성이 회복되기를 염원하는 작품이다. 〈학(鶴)〉은 우리 민족의 풍류정신을 주제로 하여 합설이라는 양식으로 펼친다. 합설이라는 의미는 단순한 레퍼토리의 나열이 아니라 이질적인 것을 하나로 아우르는 미학이 숨어있다. 궁중 학무, 처용무, 종묘제례악 일무, 춘앵전 뿐 아니라 동래학춤, 고성오광대 기본무, 승무, 살풀이춤, 바라춤 등 전통춤의 호흡과 기본동작을 응용하여 전통춤의 경계를 허물고 관객과 소통하여 새로운 지평을 열고자 한다.  



〈학(鶴)〉은 학과 인간 사이에 벌어진 학의 생태적 변화과정을 서막(학(鶴))과 종막(학립(鶴立)) 외 총 6장(입학(立鶴)-현학(玄鶴)-폐학(閉鶴)-피학(避鶴)-학명(鶴鳴)-합설(合設))으로 구성한다. 학과 인간의 삶이 서로 다른 것이 아님을, 우리가 사는 이곳이 조화를 이루고 살아야 할 세상이자 깨달음의 세계로 가는 정토(淨土)라는 의식으로 평화의 메시지를 전한다.

Through the complex interaction of the energies of 'fire, water, metal, wood, and earth' symbolized by the five elements, 'the process of life may be different, but they influence each other. The Busan National Gugak Center Dance Company's regular performance is a process to find an answer to the question, 'What kind of crane would our ancestors want to portray in traditional dance?' It explores the symbolism of the crane and its spiritual world. It is a creative work that interprets with a modern aesthetic sense. This work hopes to purify damaged nature and restore humanity through the fundamental awakening that humans and nature are one living community by utilizing cultural content related to the crane, including the crane dance of the royal court and folklore as well as traditional patterns containing the image of the crane. 〈Hak (鶴)〉 is unfolded in the style of Hapseol with the theme of our people’s pungryu spirit. The meaning of harmonization is not a simple listing of repertoire, but there is a hidden aesthetic of unifying disparate things into one. By applying the breathing and basic movements of traditional dances such as the royal school hakmu, Cheoyong dance, Jongmyo Jeryeak ilmu, and Chunaengjeon, as well as Dongrae crane dance, Goseong Ogwangdae basic dance, Seungmu, Salpuri dance, and Barachum, the boundaries of traditional dance are broken down and new horizons are created by communicating with the audience. 〈Hak (鶴)〉 contains a total of 6 chapters (Iphak (立鶴) - Hyeonhak (玄鶴) - including the prologue (Hak (鶴)) and the conclusion (Hakrip (鶴立)) that describe the ecological change process of cranes that occurred between cranes and humans.
