주어진 환경에 상호작용하며 온전한 원형의 상태로 성장하였을 때, 

그 존재는 어떤 움직임을 가지고 있을까? 

그 움직임은 어떤 힘과 리듬, 기억을 가진 춤이 될까? 

그 춤은 어떤 변화의 파장으로 관객에게 영향을 줄 수 있을까?


이러한 질문에서 시작된 이소영 안무가의 신작 ‘물고기 문어 불가사리 뱀 코끼리 늑대가 흐르는 몸의 노래’가 10월 11일부터 더줌아트센터 무대에 오른다. 


안무가 이소영(몸춤/14FEET 대표)은 〈강을 건너듯 문지방을 넘어〉, 〈늑대백〉 등 신체를 통한 인간 본질의 탐구를 주제로 다양한 작품 활동을 지속해 왔는데, 이번 작품에서는 사회가 요구하는 역할에 의해 가려져 있던 인간 내면의 원형을 춤을 통해 인식하고 되살리고자 한다. 이를 통해 우리 몸에 내재된 동물들의 형태와 움직임, 소리 등으로 야성의 원형을 일깨우며 “야성이 본질을 드러냈을 때, 우리 사회에 어떠한 변화가 일어날 수 있는가”에 대한 도발적인 질문을 던진다. 


특히 이번 작품에서 주목할 점은 움직임과 소리가 유기적으로 결합된 독특한 형식이다. 무용수의 움직임에 따라 소리가 만들어지고, 소리에 따라 움직임이 영향을 받는 등, 작품 안에서 움직임과 소리가 하나의 생명체처럼 유기적으로 연결된다. 이처럼 독창적인 구성은 안무가 이소영을 비롯해 댄서 김지형, 류정문, 배유리, 손나예, 전보람, 그리고 사운드 아티스트 카입이 리서치 단계부터 함께 연구하고 무대화하며 실현된 결과이며, 관객들은 움직임과 소리의 조화를 통해 한층 더 강렬한 예술적 경험을 하게 된다.

When it interacts with the given environment and grows into a complete original state,

What kind of movement will that being have?

What kind of power, rhythm, and memory will that movement have as a dance?

What kind of wave of change will that dance have on the audience?


Choreographer Lee So-young’s new work, 〈Fish, Octopus, Starfish, Snake, Elephant, Wolf, Flowing Body Song〉 which began with these questions, will be on stage at the Dazum Art Center from October 11.


Choreographer Lee So-young (Body Dance/CEO of 14FEET) has continued to create various works with the theme of exploring human essence through the body, such as 〈Crossing the Threshold Like Crossing the River〉 and 〈Wolf White〉. In this work, she seeks to recognize and revive the archetype of the human mind that has been obscured by the roles demanded by society through dance. Through this, she awakens the archetype of wildness through the forms, movements, and sounds of animals inherent in our bodies, and poses a provocative question of “What changes can occur in our society when wildness reveals its essence?”


What is particularly noteworthy in this work is the unique form in which movement and sound are organically combined. Sound is created according to the dancer’s movements, and movement is affected by sound, so movement and sound are organically connected as if they were one living organism in the work. This unique composition is the result of choreographer Lee So-young, dancers Kim Ji-hyung, Ryu Jeong-moon, Bae Yu-ri, Son Na-ye, Jeon Bo-ram, and sound artist Kaib working together from the research stage to stage it, and the audience will have an even more intense artistic experience through the harmony of movement and sound.


〈Fish Octopus Starfish Snake Elephant Wolf Flowing Body Song〉 will be performed from Friday, October 11 to Sunday, October 13, and tickets can be reserved through the Interpark Ticket homepage.
